Since August 2011 I’ve been creating the structure and content for a WIKI, training WIKI contributors and writing all kinds of communications for a government IT project.
A WIKI is a web site that stores information about an organisation and which can be easily updated by approved users. It’s a useful way of creating documentation that you can search with keywords, and that actually gets used and improved over time. WIKIs are most commonly used by techies, however they’re good for any organisation that needs to share information.
